Adam Stanieich Named 2015 Elite Coach

The Boston Americans are excited to announce Adam Stanieich will be the Head Coach of our Mite Minor (2015 birth year) team.

Adam comes with a wealth of playing and coaching experience.

Adam is a local guy that grew up in Stoneham, MA and played his high school hockey at St. Johns Prep, where he played varsity his freshman and sophomore years before going on to play 3 years of junior hockey for the Jr. Bruins (formerly of the EJHL) where he was voted team captain his last 2 seasons. He then earned a Division 1 scholarship to play college hockey at Umass-Lowell (Hockey East).

Growing up, Adam was fortunate enough to play for and train with a lot of great coaches. He takes a lot of what he learned and applies it to his coaching style in developing young hockey players. Adam's belief of skating and skill development along with allowing his players to be creative and have fun coaching philosophy is a perfect fit for our Americans Development Module.

Adam currently lives in Lynnfield with his wife Meghan and three children: Jackson, Dylan, and Julian.
