Congratulations to our 2014 Elite's Boston Americans on winning the MLK Full Ice Mite Classic over the weekend.  

The 14 Elites played two games on Friday taking on the Long Island Gladiators and then MassConn United. The 14 Americans came out hot and never looked back earning their first win of the tournament in 6-2 victory over the Long Island Gladiators. Later that day, they dominated MassConn United in a 8-1 blowout win. On Saturday, the 14 Elites played the Minuteman Sparks and sailed to a 6-1 win. On Sunday, the 14’s faced off against Voorhees Mighty Mites and came out with a 7-2 win. 

They would once again face MassConn United in the semi-finals and defeated them with a final score of 7-2. In the finals, the 14 Elites defeated the Long Island Gladiators 8-1 to cap off a dominate weekend of hockey. The Americans had stellar goaltending in the tournament and dominate offensive production. In the tournament, they outscored their opponents 44-9 on their way to 6-0 undefeated weekend. 

They will continue their E9 season this weekend back at home on January 21st at 2:55 pm to take on the Valley Jr. Warriors.
