Girls U10 Program
The Girls U10 Americans Program is designed to be a supplemental team where girls can maximize the development of their individual athletic skills 1 to 2 times per week, while also playing for their existing team. The U10’s will play approximately 22 games against both boys and girls teams..
SKILLS SESSIONS & POWER SKATING SESSIONS
Throughout the season, each player’s skating and skill development continues through a weekly series of Power Skating and skills sessions. These sessions are conducted by members of the Boston Americans full-time staff. Each team has one Power Skating session per week for 23 weeks.
All Boston American U10 teams will have 10 practices approximately once every other week in order to not interfere with player’s primary team events. Practices are used to reinforce the basic skill sessions and to coordinate the systems used for team play. These practices are conducted by the coaching staff of each team, consisting of some of the finest and most qualified coaches in the area and under the supervision of the full-time Boston American professional staff.
AMERICANS GOALTENDING TRAINING
Each Boston American goaltender will receive intensive instruction and training with Brian Daccord’s Stop It Goaltending. The program will include 12 weeks of position-specific training sessions at The Pad in Woburn.
